Primary Purpose: Nova Southeastern University's College of Psychology is seeking Adjunct Faculty members for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's degree programs. The programs are offered at NSU's main campus in Fort Lauderdale, at NSU campuses in Orlando, Tampa, Miami, and also online. Job Category: Exempt Hiring Range: Commensurate with Experience Pay Basis: Subject to Grant Funding? Essential Job Functions: 1. Professional identity as a counselor educator. 2. Commitment to the professional field of counselor education as evidenced by education, teaching counseling experience, research, and professional affiliations, such as AMHCA, ACES, and ACA. 3. Experience in teaching graduate-level courses. 4. Commitment to multicultural counseling competencies. Job Requirements: Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Required Certifications/Licensures: Licensed or License Eligible Required Education: Doctoral Degree in Counselor Education or related field Major (if required: Required Experience: 1. Holds terminal doctoral degree from a CACREP-accredited program or related profession and documented experience in the field of clinical mental health counseling. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Licensed or License-eligible as a Professional Counselor or Licensed Mental Health Counselor. 2. Hold Certification or is certification-eligible with NBCC. 3.
