Bookkeeper - Japanese Bilingual
This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Florida (USA) A well-established Japanese accounting firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with accounting knowledge to join our team. Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to:
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing invoices and payments
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Preparing journal entries
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
- Communicate effectively in both Japanese and English with clients and internal team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Approximately 7 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role, preferably in an accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
