C# / Azure Consultant – FedEx to UPS API Migration Scope

We are looking for an experienced C# / Azure consultant to evaluate and define the scope of replacing our existing FedEx API integration with UPS APIs within a custom-built customer dashboard and CRM/ERP platform. Our current system is already fully built and operational. It allows users to create shipments, generate labels, rate shop, and track packages using FedEx APIs. The user interface and workflows are already in place. We are trying to determine whether transitioning to UPS is a straightforward API replacement or a more complex integration that requires backend logic changes, data model updates, or workflow adjustments. Your role will be to review our existing architecture and integrations, identify the gaps between FedEx and UPS, and provide a clear, structured scope of work that our development team can execute against. This is not a build-from-scratch role. We need a consultant who can quickly understand an existing system, think at an architectural level, and clearly outline effort, complexity, and risk. You should be comfortable working within a C# (.NET) environment hosted on Microsoft Azure and have direct experience integrating carrier APIs, ideally both FedEx and UPS. Strong communication is critical, as your deliverable will be used to guide our internal team and external developers. Availability during 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time is required for collaboration.
