Key Responsibilities
Develop, edit, and maintain high‑quality documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and process guides for beauty products and services. Conduct thorough research to verify industry terminology, standards, and best practices, integrating findings into clear and concise copy. Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards. Participate in cross‑functional meetings to provide input on content strategy and improve documentation workflows. Required Qualifications 1 to 10 years of professional experience in technical writing, documentation, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to produce user manuals, technical specifications, and detailed documentation. Strong research skills with the capacity to quickly learn and apply industry‑specific terminology. Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency. Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or comparable platforms. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with virtual teams. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Required Education Other relevant certifications, training, or equivalent professional experience in technical writing, communications, or a related discipline. Desired Skills Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools. Compensation & Benefits Ulta Beauty offers a competitive salary range of $56,000 to $114,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
