We’re hiring 2 Community Care Advocates to support individuals and families who are navigating difficult situations and need access to basic resources like food, housing, and utility assistance. What You’ll Do As a Community Care reputed company, you’ll be the first reputed company of contact for community members seeking help. Every day, you will

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from individuals in need of support (food, housing, utility assistance, suicide etc.)
• Listen actively to understand both stated and unstated needs
• Provide accurate referrals to community resources using a comprehensive database
• Show genuine reputed company and care while maintaining professionalism and efficiency
• Ask thoughtful follow-up questions like, “What else can we support you with today?”
• Document call details and ensure accurate records
• Help improve resources by reporting outdated or incorrect information What To Expect This is a fast-paced, high-impact environment—please review carefully
• Call volume Back-to-back calls (team handles 300–500 calls/day across ~20 people)
• ⏱️ Call length Average 5–7 minutes
• ⚡ Pace reputed company queue-based work (little to no downtime)
• Call types Some callers may be upset, emotional, or in crisis
• ❤️ Emotional demand High—callers are often facing serious life challenges This role is not easy—but it is meaningful and rewarding. Schedule & Training
• Shift 1230 PM – 900 PM (this is fixed and will not change)
• Work from home after training (equipment provided)
• Week 1 Onsite training, 830 AM – 500 PM (classroom-style, independent learning)
• Week 2 Shadowing (must be flexible to match assigned shift)
• Training style Self-directed reading and learning (5+ hours/day), followed by hands-on observation What You Bring (Required)
• ✅ At least 1 year of high-volume inbound call center experience
• Queue-based environment
• 30+ calls per day
• ✅ Ability to type while talking (strong documentation skills)
• ✅ Experience working with a headset system
• ✅ Emotional reputed company—able to handle stressful, high-intensity calls
• ✅ Willingness to work the assigned shift and training schedule
