Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Interaction

  • Warmly greet every customer and patient, offering proactive assistance with products, services, and store navigation.
  • Model and share best‑practice service habits—eye contact, courteous language, and attentive listening—to inspire teammates.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring each interaction ends with a satisfied and confident guest.
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on promotional items, trade‑up opportunities, and complementary products.
  • Deliver specialized assistance in the photo services area, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and creative machine operations.

Operational Excellence

  • Operate assigned cash registers with accuracy, handling cash, credit, and electronic transactions while processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves; conduct regular inventory checks and record‑keeping.
  • Price merchandise, receive shipments, and assist with stock rotation using the first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) method.
  • Implement careerzynith asset‑protection procedures to minimize shrinkage and safeguard store profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
  • Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal setups, and super‑structure merchandising as directed.
  • Assist with food‑safety protocols, separating raw and pre‑cooked items, and positioning products according to policy.
  • Monitor and fulfill web‑pick‑up orders through Picture Care Plus, delivering a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Support interior and exterior store maintenance, keeping the environment tidy, safe, and inviting.

Team Collaboration & Development

  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, completing performance‑linked learning modules (PPLs) as assigned.
  • Collaborate with shift leaders and managers to execute special projects, store resets, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Uphold careerzynith policies, fostering respectful relationships with coworkers and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except where local regulations provide alternatives).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency for cash handling and transaction reconciliation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least six months of experience in a retail or customer‑service environment.
  • Prior experience working for careerzynith or a comparable retail chain.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a high‑traffic setting while maintaining accuracy.
  • Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and basic inventory management tools.
