Position Overview

careerzynith’s Member Operations division is expanding its remote Customer Care team to serve members throughout the San Antonio, TX region and surrounding areas (up to 75 miles). As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be the friendly, knowledgeable voice that helps members navigate their pharmacy benefit plans, understand prescription coverage, and resolve inquiries related to mail‑order prescriptions, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial plans.

This role offers a flexible schedule, a blend of home‑based and on‑site training, and a clear pathway for advancement—from Representative I to Representative II and beyond—through careerzynith’s Career Mapping framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound member calls with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • Explain pharmacy benefit details, including coverage options, co‑pays, and eligibility requirements for commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and other specialized plans.
  • Assist members with mail‑order prescription processes, refill requests, and status inquiries.
  • Document interactions accurately in careerzynith’s CRM system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal data‑security standards.
  • Identify opportunities to educate members about additional careerzynith services that may improve their health outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, role‑plays, and knowledge‑share meetings to stay current on product updates and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including pharmacy operations, claims, and quality assurance—to resolve complex member issues.
  • Maintain schedule adherence, meet performance metrics, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing role (call center, retail, hospitality, military service, or similar).
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a strong desire for continuous learning is essential.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a home environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities, especially in high‑stress or high‑volume situations.
  • Experience in health‑care or pharmacy benefit environments (minimum 6 months preferred).
  • Exceptional verbal communication, telephone etiquette, and interpersonal skills.

  • Reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts and flexibility to adjust hours based on call‑volume trends.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

careerzynith offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $28.45, depending on experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, you will enjoy a robust benefits package that includes:
