Responsibilities

Lead functional D365 Business Central implementations across discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support Serve as the functional lead for core business processes including finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, warehousing, and related operational workflows Translate client business requirements into scalable Business Central solutions and recommend best practices that improve efficiency, controls, and reporting Manage multiple client engagements, project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery Build and maintain strong client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and identify opportunities for additional services and long-term partnership growth Review deliverables and oversee quality assurance for configuration, documentation, testing, training, and deployment activities Coach, mentor, and develop consultants while supporting performance management, team utilization, and knowledge sharing across the practice Partner with leadership on practice development, delivery standards, staffing, and continuous improvement initiatives Serve as an escalation point for complex functional issues and help drive resolution with clients and internal teams Qualifications 8+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Dynamics 365 Business Central, or a comparable mid-market ERP solution Proven experience leading functional ERP consulting engagements, including solution design, client workshops, testing, training, and deployment Strong knowledge of business processes across finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, and distribution; manufacturing experience is a plus Demonstrated success managing multiple projects, priorities, and client stakeholders in a consulting environment Experience mentoring consultants and contributing to team development, resource planning, and delivery excellence Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, or a related field Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions Working knowledge of reporting, data migration, testing processes, and ERP implementation methodology Why Rand Group?
