Key Responsibilities

  • Log into secure careerzynith workstations and access assigned queues of scanned document images.
  • Review each image, interpret handwritten or printed content, and apply the appropriate coding from the established master code list.
  • Validate previously extracted data for accuracy; correct any discrepancies and document changes per standard operating procedures.
  • Adjust document orientation, contrast, and lighting to improve readability before data entry.
  • Reference detailed work instructions, coding guides, and style manuals to ensure consistency across all entries.
  • Participate in mandatory virtual meetings, training sessions, and overtime shifts with minimal notice, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information, adhering to careerzynith’s security protocols and data handling policies.
  • Provide feedback on workflow improvements and suggest enhancements to coding schemas based on frontline experience.

Work Schedule & Training

All work is performed from home, with the requirement that you reside within a 75‑mile radius of either Clinton, IA or Janesville, WI. The onboarding timeline is as follows:

  • Orientation (Remote): December 2, 2024, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
  • On‑site Training (One Week): Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am – 11:30 am.
  • Remote Training Continuation: 7:30 am – 2:30 pm for an additional five weeks, contingent on clearance processing.

After training, you may schedule your workday anytime between 4:00 am and 6:30 pm. Overtime is a regular expectation, including occasional Saturday shifts, to meet project deadlines and client commitments.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Demonstrated ability to safeguard confidential information.
  • Successful completion of background checks and acquisition of required security clearances.
  • Fundamental computer literacy, including familiarity with Windows operating systems and standard office software.
  • Typing speed of at least 8,000 keystrokes per hour (approximately 133 wpm) with high accuracy.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Prior experience in high‑volume data entry, document transcription, or records management.
  • Experience working with secure or classified information environments.
  • Proficiency with data‑entry tools such as OCR software, spreadsheet applications, and custom careerzynith coding interfaces.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret ambiguous or poorly legible source material.
  • Excellent time‑management and self‑discipline to meet productivity targets in a remote setting.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new coding schemas, work instructions, and quality‑control procedures.
