Job Overview

As a Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. You'll be responsible for inputting data, updating existing records, and maintaining the integrity of our digital databases. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing spreadsheets to track customer information and orders
  • Transferring data from paper documents to digital databases with accuracy and speed
  • Updating customer information, verifying data, and making necessary changes to records
  • Organizing existing data, performing regular database backups, and operating office equipment
  • Inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents, and reviewing data for errors
  • Assisting with special projects, providing data entry support across departments, and staying current with departmental policies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 1 year's prior experience in customer service and/or data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to use databases, input data accurately and quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills, both oral and written
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (required for remote work)
