Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

  • Transferring data between applications, ensuring precision and accuracy in migration
  • Creating and managing spreadsheets with large datasets, demonstrating a commitment to error-free data entry
  • Verifying data by cross-referencing it with source documents, maintaining a high level of data accuracy
  • Updating existing data with new information as it becomes available, ensuring data currency
  • Retrieving requested data from databases or electronic files promptly and efficiently
  • Performing regular backups to safeguard data and ensure preservation
  • Organizing and sorting paperwork after data entry to prevent loss

Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree
  • Proven experience as a data entry specialist, showcasing accuracy and efficiency
  • Fast typing skills with excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Solid working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of web-based applications and associated navigation
  • Strong command of English, both oral and written, coupled with excellent customer service skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with independent motivation and critical thinking
  • Comfortable reaching out to others independently, with the ability to make progress with limited work direction
  • Adaptable to switching between different types of products and advancing all in parallel
  • Basic knowledge of measures, metrics, characteristics, and quality attributes

Location and Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, but applicants must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone. You will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with access to all the necessary tools and resources to perform your job duties.
