Job Responsibilities

As a Data Entry/Administrative Clerk with careerzynith, you'll be responsible for:

  • Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent data and ensuring accuracy
  • Correcting errors and organizing information for swift and accurate data capturing
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering/updating information in relevant databases
  • Ensuring data is backed up and informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field (data entry, administrative support, or customer service)
  • Good command of English and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient touch typing skills (optional but preferred)
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:

  • Proficient touch typing skills (at least 40 words per minute)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with data entry software and systems (e.g., CRM, ERP)
  • Familiarity with data protection policies and procedures
  • Certification in data entry or administrative support (e.g., Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA))
