Job description As a Telehealth Family Practitioner at Troy Medical, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality outpatient care to patients in rural and underserved communities. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes through innovative telehealth solutions. Job Responsibilities Patient Assessment Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with varying conditions, including history taking, physical examinations, and the interpretation of diagnostic tests. Treatment Plans Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists as needed. Telehealth Consultations Provide virtual consultations using our telehealth platform, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care while addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Collaboration Work closely with our dedicated nursing team and on-site support staff to facilitate patient care, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up. Patient Education Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies to empower them in their care journey. Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMRs) of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulations. Continuous Improvement Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in telemedicine.

Qualifications

Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) Certification Board certified or eligible in Psychology. Must have active Texas license. Experience Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in telehealth, is preferred but not mandatory. Working Hours 8-5pm CST Skills Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in using telemedicine platforms and electronic health records. Apply To this Job
