Founding Full-Stack Engineer
Founding Engineer We are building the first AI-native government affairs platform for end-to-end advocacy execution. We have successfully built and validated a working proof of concept. Now we're building v1. This is a founding engineering role. You'll work directly with the founder to transform a validated AI-powered proof of concept into a production SaaS platform. You'll build core product functionality, workflows, integrations, user experiences, and AI-powered features on top of an existing AI engine. You'll help shape both the technical architecture and the product itself. You will be the first engineering hire and play a foundational role in shaping the product, architecture, and future technical team. This role begins as a paid contract engagement (10–15 hours per week at $80–90/hour) and is designed to grow into a full-time Founding Engineer position with meaningful equity ownership and conversion to $130-170k salary when we complete our seed financing.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Python development experience
- Experience building production applications with Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases
- Experience designing and integrating APIs
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, NLP, and agentic workflows
- Ability to independently own and ship product features end-to-end
- Startup mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity
