We will train on specific task items listed below, although the right fit will quickly and easily pick up responsibilities and manage them on their own. Location: Austin, TX (on-site position), Remote if outside of Austin area. Type: Full Time Min. Experience: Entry Level Qualifications: 1-2 years of previous job experience 1-2 years of medical record/auditing experience highly preferred Proactive and positive team player with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and G Suite What you will be doing at ABC: Assign Correct Billing Codes Ensure codes match both the provider’s documentation and insurance requirements. Approve charges for claim submission - Central Reach Double-check that all patient, provider, and insurance details are correct. Verify Insurance Requirements Make sure services are covered and meet payer-specific billing rules to reduce claim denials. Identify and fix issues like duplicate charges, incorrect codes, or missing authorizations.
