Greenstone is expanding across Asia-Pacific and we are hiring an Investor Relations professional focused on Australia. This is a high-impact, front-office fund placement role responsible for distributing global private market funds to Australia’s institutional, wholesale, private wealth and family office investor ecosystem. You will act as Greenstone’s local Australia coverage professional, building deep relationships with allocators and driving fundraising execution for a portfolio of private equity, private credit, real assets, infrastructure and other alternative strategies. 🌏 Key Responsibilities Fund Placement & Sales Lead the placement and distribution of assigned private market funds across Australia. Execute fundraising campaigns and drive toward placement targets. Develop Australia-specific sales strategies with Fund Managers and regional teams. Identify relevant Australian allocators, including superannuation funds, private banks, family offices, external asset managers, wealth platforms, financial advisers, insurers, endowments, foundations and asset managers, and match them to suitable products. Deliver compelling pitches, articulating strategy, track record, differentiators and macro viewpoints. Lead Australian investor meetings, roadshows and Fund Manager-led sessions. Manage a full fundraising pipeline, including sourcing, pitching, follow-ups, call notes, documentation and closing. Work with investors to uncover DDQ, ODD, investment committee and platform approval requirements, and support smooth subscription execution. Maintain accurate CRM entries and provide regular pipeline reporting to senior leadership. Investor Coverage & Intelligence Develop a deep understanding of Australia’s allocator ecosystem, mandates, approval processes and key decision-makers. Expand Greenstone’s investor network by sourcing new superannuation funds, private wealth groups, family offices, asset consultants, financial adviser groups and institutional relationships. Maintain detailed intelligence on Australian LP interests, allocation themes and fund preferences. Product Fit & Market Feedback Provide structured product-fit feedback to Greenstone’s mandate sourcing team. Support market studies and product-positioning initiatives relevant to Australian investors. Compliance Adhere to all applicable Australian private placement, wholesale investor and internal compliance requirements. Maintain clean practices, documentation standards and attend mandatory training. 🎯 The Right Candidate Essential Direct experience selling funds or financial products to Australian investors, including superannuation funds, private wealth groups, family offices, asset consultants, insurers, wealth platforms, financial advisers or asset managers. Strong understanding of the Australian allocator landscape and decision-making processes. Experience in fund placement, capital raising, institutional sales, wholesale distribution or investor relations. Fluency in English. Relationship-driven with the resilience to manage long sales cycles. Ability to manage multiple fundraising pipelines in a structured and organised manner. Preferred Experience distributing alternative investment strategies, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets and secondaries. Existing relationships across Australian institutional, wholesale or private wealth channels. Strong analytics and the ability to communicate private market concepts clearly. Self-starter with high integrity and strong collaboration skills.
