IT Systems Administrator (Remote)
IT Systems Administrator Are you passionate about technology and ensuring systems run smoothly and securely? In this fully remote position, you'll work closely with a talented IT team to deliver high availability, strong security, and optimal performance all while supporting our core mission of Blessing and Serving others.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain physical and virtual server environments (Windows-focused)
- Perform regular Windows patching, updates, and proactive system maintenance
- Oversee backup strategies and disaster recovery processes
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and related enterprise services
- Monitor and manage SIEM systems for security and compliance
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and drive timely resolution
- Lead and support IT infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
- Maintain accurate system documentation and operational procedures
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (shared with the team)
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in IT or related field
- 3–5 years of systems administration experience
- Strong knowledge of servers, networking, and security
- Experience with Active Directory, GPO, and backups
- Familiarity with SIEM tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
