This position is contingent upon contract award

SOSi is seeking a JIRA Administrator to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities. Essential Job Duties: Configure and maintain JIRA workflows, projects, and issue tracking systems. Manage and optimize JIRA configurations to meet business and technical requirements. Integrate JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, and other DevOps tools. Support Agile methodologies and related project management practices. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to JIRA administration. Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to improve processes and system functionality.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration. Demonstrated experience configuring and managing JIRA workflows. Experience managing issue tracking systems and workflow automation. Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflow development and permission management. Experience integrating JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools. Experience with Agile methodologies, dashboard customization, and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring is required. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Desired Qualifications: Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator certification. ITIL Foundation Certification.
