Job Description – Manual Tester: MacOS (Desktop Application) Employment Details Employment Term: Full-Time (Fixed) Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Central Time (1hr break-time) Weekends: Saturday & Sunday Work Setup: Remote (BYOD) Role Overview We are looking for a solid manual tester who can test productivity desktop apps built on .NET for MacOS. You'll work closely with our client's product and engineering teams to ensure the agentic AI desktop product works flawlessly on MacOS. Required Skills 3+ years manual testing experience of desktop applications Hands-on testing experience on MacOS Access to MacOS machines as verification is needed on both Intel and Apple Silicon (ARM) Macs to catch native code paths, library/runtime varints, and performance differences. Derive new test cases from product specs, UI walkthroughs, or hands-on exploration. Produce structured CSV/spreadsheet formats with clear test descriptions, steps, expected outcomes, and pass/fail criteria Refine AI-drafted test plans, removing redundancies, adding edge cases, sharpening expected outcomes, and restructuring cases. Clear bug write-ups with precise reproduction steps, severity classification, screenshots, and log capture Comfort with complex UI patterns: multi-window interfaces, drag-and-drop, modal dialogs, menu bar behavior, and installer flows Platform-specific knowledge in MacOS .app bundles, Info.plist file associations, native title-bar behavior MS365 / Outlook familiarity to integrate with both Outlook Classic and modern Outlook Strong written English; proficiency with Microsoft Teams and GitLab for collaboration and issue tracking Nice to Have Microsoft Entra / OAuth sign-in flow testing AI / LLM chat product testing Installer validation (.app / .dmg on MacOS) What We Provide Test accounts, sample data, and direct access to the dev team for clarifications A small, product-driven team where your work directly impacts the product Remote flexibility with a team based worldwide
