Director – Marketing (AI-Native Growth) Focus: Top-of-Funnel, Demand Generation, Pipeline Creation Reports to: CRO / Head of Growth Location: Remote(India) Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field MBA from IIM, ISB, or other top tier business schools. We build enterprise AI and data systems, agentic workflows, and vertical solutions across industries like mortgage, retail/CPG, healthcare, oil & gas, and legal. We don’t see AI as a tool. We see it as a second digital growth team. This role is for someone who knows how to use that team to create outsized impact. Core Mandate: You own top-of-funnel and use AI to massively extend your capacity and execution velocity. Role Mandate As Director – Marketing, you own top-of-funnel growth and sourced pipeline, using AI to exponentially extend your strategic and execution capacity. You are accountable for designing the demand engine, not merely running campaigns. You operate at the intersection of strategy, systems, and scale - setting direction, building AI-powered workflows, and ensuring consistent pipeline contribution from priority ICPs. Success Metrics measured on: 10–15 ICP-qualified meetings per month from marketing-led efforts 5–7 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) per month $1M+ in marketing-sourced pipeline per quarter from target accounts Activity is relevant only if it moves these outcomes. Who You Are – An AI-Native Marketing Leader You are a demand gen operator who thinks in terms of human + AI, not human vs AI. Concretely, you: Architect AI workflows, not prompts You use AI (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as embedded infrastructure—for market research, account intelligence, message iteration, call synthesis, reporting, and playbook creation. Run AI-accelerated ICP & account strategy You combine AI with Clay, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn to identify look-alike accounts from Codvo’s best wins, map buying committees, and prioritize by intent, fit, and signal strength. Enable personalization at enterprise scale You turn one strong value proposition into dozens of role-, vertical-, and pain-specific variants while maintaining central positioning integrity. Convert data into decisions—fast You feed campaign and pipeline data into AI to diagnose performance shifts, extract insights, and define next experiments with speed and clarity. Institutionalize learning You use AI to continuously codify messaging, sequences, objections, ICP insights, and campaign results into living marketing and SDR playbooks. Exercise strong judgment on automation boundaries You keep narrative, positioning, and offer strategy human-led while delegating scale, variants, enrichment, and analysis to AI. Key Responsibilities 1. Growth Strategy & Targeting Own ICP definition, segmentation, and account prioritization in partnership with Sales and Leadership. Build and continuously refresh named-account and look-alike universes using AI and enrichment tools. Ensure ≥90% coverage of buying groups and key personas across active target accounts. 2. Demand & Campaign Leadership Design and oversee multi-touch outbound and account-based campaigns (email, LinkedIn, light landing experiences). Translate Codvo’s case studies, delivery wins, and IP into scalable demand offers. Launch 2–3 meaningful experiments per month across segment, message, offer, or channel using AI co-pilots. 3. Sales & Revenue Alignment Equip SDRs with AI-assisted account lists, sequences, and messaging that are execution-ready. Participate in weekly SDR/AE pipeline reviews focused on meetings, SQLs, and sourced revenue. Leverage AI-summarized call notes, objections, and replies to continuously refine targeting and messaging. 4. Performance, Reporting & Optimization Own a simple but rigorous dashboard covering meetings, SQLs, pipeline, and conversion rates. Drive structured A/B testing across subject lines, hooks, offers, and cadences. Deliver concise weekly leadership updates: what launched, what it delivered, and what changes next. 5. Marketing Ops & AI Infrastructure Oversee CRM and marketing automation workflows (Zoho, HubSpot, or similar). Ensure clean data hygiene, accurate attribution, UTMs, and campaign tracking. Maintain AI-ready data structures for enrichment, scoring, personalization, and analytics. Experience & Expectations 12–15 years in B2B demand generation / growth (services, SaaS, AI,, GIS or data-led businesses experience). Demonstrated ownership of revenue-linked marketing outcomes, not vanity metrics. Hands-on expertise with CRM and marketing automation platforms. Strong command of outbound motion, account-based marketing, and pipeline analytics. Ability to translate complex AI/data capabilities into compelling, business-led value propositions. High ownership mindset: define → build → execute → measure → refine, without hand-holding.
