Medical Administrative Support

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to healthcare professionals and medical staff.
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including follow-ups and cancellations.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate patient records and medical documentation.
  • Handling inbound and outbound communications efficiently via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Organising and managing the office filing system for seamless information retrieval.
  • Coordinating with insurance companies for billing and claims processing.

Essential Skills

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient information and medical documentation.
  • Proficiency in using medical software and office applications, such as word processors and spreadsheet tools.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is advantageous.
