Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to analyze clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological states, enabling tailored treatment approaches.
  • Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that reflect best practices and are specifically adapted to meet the diverse needs of your clients.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Build strong, therapeutic, and trusting relationships with clients by fostering a non-judgmental atmosphere that promotes open dialogue and personal exploration.
  • Utilize therapeutic tools and methodologies to help clients address and transform maladaptive behaviors into healthier coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other behavioral health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Participate in professional development initiatives, workshops, and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatment and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve encompass a wide age range, including both adults and youth. Many individuals seek support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these individuals through their most challenging moments, utilizing empathy and expertise to foster healing and growth.

Qualifications

  • A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • A valid and active state license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) to practice as a mental health therapist.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in providing mental health therapy or counseling services.
  • Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse clientele.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in client care.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet the diverse needs of clients.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in group therapy or community mental health settings.
  • Prior work with specific populations, such as youth or underserved communities.

Compensation and Benefits

  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
