Mostly Remote | Secret-Cleared Java Developer
Job Title: Java Developer Location: 1-Day per month onsite (Norfolk Naval Shipyard, VA) Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE (Required) Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance (Required)Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Developer to join our team in delivering secure, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience with modern IDEs, and the ability to work with SQL and DevOps tools in a collaborative environment. Required Skills and Experience:
- 3–5+ years’ experience developing software with Java 8.0 or higher
- 3–5+ years’ experience using Java Server Pages (JSF)
- 3–5+ years’ experience developing with JavaScript
- 3+ years’ experience using NetBeans IDE (8.0–11.0) or Eclipse
- Strong ability to write and read SQL code
- Experience using GIT in Azure DevOps, including generating PBIs, Bugs, and Tasks
- Experience creating Adobe PDF templates
- Familiarity with databases and general database design principles
Optional / Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with CA-GEN servers and CABs on Z/OS
- Skilled in using Struts 1.0 and JSF, with the ability to convert STRUTS to JSF Framework
