We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable News Writer to drive our editorial output and audience growth who is comfortable with covering news related to streamers, technology, AI, and other current US events. Key Responsibilities: The News Writer will be responsible for creating quick news articles (250-400 words) focusing on the aforementioned topics. Content Creation & Journalism: Research and write assigned topics with a quick turnaround time. News Analysis: Pitch topics around breaking news on the topics that the site is covering. Traffic Generation: Actively apply SEO best practices to all written content, such as the inverse pyramid, to improve reader experience and increase traffic.
Requirements
Required Professional Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in covering news on streamers, technology, or current events. Writing Expertise: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in writing clear, concise, and engaging copy that simplifies jargon without dumbing it down. Advanced level of English (Written and Spoken) with excellent spelling and writing proficiency.
