Key Responsibilities

Provide instruction and support to K-12 students with special needs, tailoring educational approaches to meet diverse learning styles and requirements. Assist in supervising and mentoring staff, and contribute to the development of in-service training programs aimed at fostering continuous professional growth. Offer guidance and resources to students and families, ensuring they are well-informed about essential aspects of the student's care and education. Respond to professional inquiries and provide advice, referring more complex issues to appropriate specialists when necessary. Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration with parents, administrators, and other educators to ensure the success and well-being of each student. Note: This list covers the primary duties, but additional responsibilities may be required as needed.

Qualifications

Valid and current State Special Education licensure. A minimum of two years of experience working in a school setting. A Master's degree in Teaching or Special Education. Professional Liability Insurance (required upon receiving a job offer). Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new software (onboarding sessions provided).
