Position Overview The Product Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution for a portfolio of specialized pet health products. This individual will drive market expansion, optimize product performance, and develop data-driven marketing strategies that support revenue growth and brand positioning. The role partners closely with veterinary professionals, sales teams, retailers, and internal cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of strategic product and marketing plans to drive sales, market share, and revenue growth
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and research data to identify opportunities and optimize performance
- Develop and execute strategies across product, pricing, promotion, placement, point-of-purchase, and protocol initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, regulatory, legal, technical services, agencies, and external stakeholders
- Serve as the Voice of the Customer (VOC) by gathering feedback from veterinarians, consumers, and retail partners
- Support customer/channel-specific marketing initiatives and co-promotion opportunities
- Manage product launches, market research, and competitive analysis initiatives
- Help manage marketing budgets and ensure financial targets are achieved
- Participate in national and regional veterinary conferences and industry events
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7+ years of experience within Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Field Sales, or related experience
- Minimum 3 years in a Product Marketing or Product Management focused role
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working cross-functionally within matrixed organizations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Animal health industry experience preferred
- Digital marketing experience strongly preferred
