[Remote] AI/ML Engineer III – Aerospace & Defense Innovation
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Revolution Technologies is an elite R&D team developing next-generation AI/ML solutions for aerospace and defense. As an AI/ML Engineer III, you'll lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning technologies supporting autonomy, computer vision, perception systems, generative AI, and advanced analytics
- Rapidly prototype innovative solutions
- Mentor engineers
- Help shape the future of AI capabilities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, AI, or related STEM field (Master's preferred)
- 6+ years of AI/ML experience (9+ years in lieu of degree)
- Strong experience with Python and AI frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
- Expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative AI (Transformers), computer vision, and neural networks
- Experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions and scalable training pipelines
- Knowledge of CPU/GPU computing, MLOps, model validation, and data engineering
- Ability to lead technical direction, mentor engineers, and translate high-level objectives into AI solutions
- Experience with embedded, autonomous, or real-time systems is highly preferred
- Aerospace, defense, robotics, or autonomous systems experience is a strong plus
