[Remote] Associate Project Manager

The Associate Project Manager role involves leading small projects, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations, and managing project scheduling and risks.
Responsibilities
- Leading the project team allocated to the project
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials
- Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued
- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Business Field preferred) and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience; or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments
- Project management experience required (PMP certification preferred)
- Strong communicator and team-oriented mind set
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong reputation for customer focus
- Demonstrated experience with ERP (SAP preferred), MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other office software
- Must be able to read Engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment
- Maintain high standards for safety and housekeeping and ensure compliance with all environmental regulations
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
