[Remote] Business Development Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GreenDustries is the company behind PleatPak®, a proprietary food packaging product designed to improve the way burgers and sandwiches are served, delivered, and enjoyed. They are seeking a motivated, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business and grow market awareness across North America.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business across restaurants, QSRs, fast-casual brands, foodservice operators, entertainment venues, and distributor partners
- Manage inbound inquiries and convert interest into qualified opportunities and closed sales
- Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline using HubSpot and other tracking tools
- Conduct outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, trade shows, and industry events
- Deliver product presentations and clearly explain PleatPak’s value proposition to decision-makers
- Work with both direct restaurant clients and major food distributors to support adoption and order flow
- Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and help move opportunities from conversation to purchase
- Track customer feedback, product use cases, and market insights to support continued growth
- Travel occasionally for client meetings, trade shows, and sales opportunities
- Bring structure, urgency, and accountability to a growing sales function
Skills
- Proven success in B2B sales, business development, account growth, or new customer acquisition
- A hunter mentality — someone who is energized by prospecting, opening doors, and creating momentum
- Strong communication skills by phone and email
- Ability to explain a product clearly, confidently, and persuasively
- Organized, disciplined, and comfortable managing a CRM and sales pipeline
- Self-motivated and able to work remotely without heavy oversight
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to travel approximately 1–2 times per month based on business needs
- Experience in foodservice, restaurants, distribution, CPG, packaging, hospitality, or related B2B industries is helpful, but not required
