[Remote] Commercial Lines Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ethree Consulting is recruiting for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join Wedgwood Insurance, a trusted insurance broker in Newfoundland & Labrador. This role involves managing a portfolio of larger, complex commercial accounts, providing clients with expert advice on risk management, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the renewal cycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full renewal cycle for your accounts — pre-renewal strategy, market submissions, coverage recommendations, and client presentations
- Advise clients on their exposures, coverage gaps, and risk management options
- Provide an exceptional client experience by responding to client inquiries and requests with speed and quality
- Identify opportunities to round accounts, cross-sell, and ensure clients are fully protected across their exposures
- Stay ahead of market changes and proactively contact clients when their coverage environment is shifting
- Work with underwriters to negotiate terms that genuinely serve your clients
- Support clients through claims; reporting, advocacy, and post-claims management
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of documentation and up-to-date underwriting information in Applied Epic
Skills
- University degree or college diploma in Business or a relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- NL P&C Level 1 licence required
- CAIB designation completed or actively in progress
- 3–5+ years of commercial lines P&C experience with complex accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel
- Applied Epic proficiency, or willingness and ability to learn new software quickly
- Level 2 or 3 licence preferred
- Experience with mid-market or larger commercial accounts preferred, but willing to consider those with mid-market experience and readiness to step into managing an established book of complex accounts
