[Remote] Consulting Senior Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Carr, Riggs & Ingram is a nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm known for its audit, tax, and business consulting expertise. They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to help manage the accounting functions for various clients.
Responsibilities
- Monthly financial statement preparation
- Management of bookkeeping, cash, and AR/AP
- Monitor and improve upon clients' internal controls
- Manage and/or assist with the implementation of accounting systems and processes
Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience specifically with full-cycle accounting and understanding of GAAP
- Self-starter/adaptable mentality
- Solid understanding of various accounting software systems: QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, MS Dynamics, etc
- Must be comfortable with meeting deadlines and budgets
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- CPA License or licensing in-process
