As a Remote Customer Service Agent, you will be an integral part of our team, working from the comfort of your own home to provide top-notch service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Issuing, reissuing, and refunding traveler tickets
- Booking, ticketing, and confirming flight reservations
- Rebooking travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
- Performing passenger check-in and front seat assignment
- Issuing vouchers and directing contractors for passenger lodging, meals, and transportation
- Working gate reader/scanner and related duties, including pre-boarding and monitoring/checking carry-on items
- Operating jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning passengers
- Making boarding and departure gate announcements
- Conveying domestic/international flight information
- Performing passenger service flight close-out procedures
- Accepting, checking, and labeling passengers' baggage at destination points
- Maintaining schedule of flight boarding process
- Processing and completing credit card baggage transactions
- Assisting passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage processing
- Line queues at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
- Clearing/confirming international documents at kiosk in the ticket counter area
- Accepting and activating passengers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
- Assisting clients requiring special assistance or in-station
- Performing client service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual language skills (in certain locations)
- Valid driver's license (as required by local authorities)
- Ability to pass FAA criminal background checks and obtain unescorted access honors to airport security identification display areas (SIDA)
- Ability to obtain airport authority and/or US Customs security badges (if applicable)
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
* Working knowledge of Saber or other Passenger Service Systems
- Past face-to-face customer service experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
