[Remote] Customer Service Representative - Belleville, IL

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering an exceptional showroom experience by engaging walk-in customers, managing communications, and supporting showroom operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing product demonstrations and guidance tailored to customer needs
- Schedule in-home consultations for prospective customers generated through showroom traffic and outbound outreach
- Conduct outbound calls to assigned leads to generate and confirm appointments
- Support local marketing efforts by participating in networking events, trade shows, and promotional activities, as needed
- Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Maintain showroom presentation, cleanliness, and product readiness
- Accurately document customer interactions, appointments, and activities within the company’s CRM/database system
- Support management with administrative and operational tasks as required
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives
Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Works with integrity and ethically; supports organization's culture, goals, and values
- Proficiency with basic technology, including personal computers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to learn product knowledge and sales processes quickly
- Professional appearance and adherence to business casual dress standards
- Willingness to be coached and continuously improve performance
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Regularly required to sit, talk, or listen; occasionally required to stand and move throughout the building
- 1–3 years of experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
