[Remote] Data Analyst (Statewide)

They are seeking a Data Analyst I to perform entry-level data analysis and research work under close supervision, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance in TWC operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data using standard statistical tools, methods and techniques
• Consults with internal and external customers to identify data analytics needs
• Interpret results to identify significant differences in data
• Assist in identifying and interpreting data patterns and trends and assessing data quality
• Assist with the implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Assist in preparing technical reports to present and interpret data, identify alternatives and make and justify recommendations on data revisions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of GED certification
• Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position
• Acceptance into a TWC Internship or TWC Apprenticeship will satisfy the minimum qualifications
• Knowledge of statistics and ability to compile and analyze data sets
• Working knowledge of UI program
• Knowledge of childcare programs
• Skill in developing meaningful metrics and dashboards to measure targets
• Ability to present and report on data findings
