[Remote] Data Analytics Developer - Education & Employment (Remote Eligible)

They are seeking a Data Analytics Developer to contribute to data management and statistical programming for research projects in the Education and Employment area, focusing on data wrangling, analysis, and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Write programs in R, Stata, or Python to extract, transform, and wrangle data; create variables for use in analysis
- Perform statistical analyses and prepare tables, graphs, and visualizations
- Providing creative and best practice solutions for data processing optimization
- Ensuring data quality through all stages of data processing with rigorous quality control
- Iteratively informing requirements and specifications, which will include articulating findings and working with researchers to adjust specifications and code as interim results are found
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in economics, data analytics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or another relevant field
- 3-5 years of programming experience in a professional or academic environment
- Programming experience using R, Stata, Python, or SQL
- Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with others
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Subject-matter knowledge of education and/or employment data
- Has the ability to pass a background investigation or security clearance for federally contracted project work
