Waterfall Technology Consulting Partners is seeking an Epic HB Certified Application Engineer with expertise in hospital Revenue Cycle operations. The role involves developing and maintaining data integrations and reporting solutions to enhance patient billing and financial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data integrations supporting Revenue Cycle operations
- Support report development and data extraction to meet business and operational needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ETL, reporting, and application layers
- Monitor and maintain scheduled workflows and system processes
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and integrity across systems
- Support ongoing system enhancements and process improvements
Skills
- Knowledge of hospital Revenue Cycle operations, including patient accounting, billing, and claims processes
- Experience working with healthcare financial data and reporting
- Minimum 3 years of Extensive experience building, debugging, and optimizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages
- Strong ability to manage complex queries and data transformations and workflows
- Minimum 3 years of Experience in .NET C# web application development
- Exposure to application architecture principles and IIS deployment
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing SSRS reports, including: Matrix and structured report layouts, Experienced with both scheduled and triggered SSRS reports
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing and monitoring enterprise workflows, preferably using JAMS Scheduler
- Active Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Clarity Report Writer certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality
- Effective communication skills with both technical and business teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
