[Remote] Epic Certified Senior System Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Renown Health is a healthcare organization, and they are seeking an Epic Certified Senior System Administrator. This role involves providing configuration, installation, maintenance, and support for enterprise applications in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides the configuration, installation, maintenance, backup, and support for enterprise application and Systems
- Responsible for a complex Healthcare System application environment
- Perform requirement gathering to understand the needs of each request
- Coordinate the install of hardware, where applicable, operating system where applicable and application as requested for any application
- Perform complex system configurations such as: monitoring, patching, upgrades, resources to ensure proper operation, as well as backup of data files to ensure continuity of services
- Works with vendors to assist support activities such as: disaster and recovery process, application patching, license yields, applications access, application growth
Skills
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Requires Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- Requires knowledge of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and database development
- Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis
- Requires at least eight years experience working in client/server computing environment
- Minimum of eight years experience working with W-intel-based servers and server management
- Requires five years experience as a Systems or Applications Administrator
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc
- Background in healthcare environment
