[Remote] Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) - Remote

The Epic Client System Administrator (ECSA) is responsible for the configuration, monitoring, support, and administration of the Epic Client Systems infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and support for client systems and servers.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the various Client Systems modules
- Engage in capacity planning exercises to ensure adequate system resources like RAM, CPU, and storage
- Monitor client server size, health, and performance
- Apply updates to production and non-production environments
- Follow vendor and Epic best practices for hardware and software configuration
- Respond to emergency after-hours issues
- Collaborate with technical teams and Epic support
Skills
- Certification in Epic Client Systems Administrator: Hyperspace Web and Interconnect at a minimum
- 5+ years of experience in Epic Client System Administrator role
- 3+ years of experience with maintaining Client Systems in a healthcare environment
- 3+ years of experience must include implementation of strategies to improve performance and uptime levels
- Expertise in the Microsoft Windows server administration
- Expertise in your chosen virtualization platform such as Citrix XenServer, VMware ESXi, or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Experience with hardware or software load balancing solutions such as F5 Big-IP or Citrix Netscaler
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) administration
- Network protocols and functionality including TCP/IP, Active Directory, Domain Name Services, FTP/SCP, and HTTP
- Certificate Management
