[Remote] Financial Analyst Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ria Money Transfer, a business segment of Euronet Worldwide, Inc., delivers innovative financial services including global money transfers. They are seeking a proactive Financial Analyst Intern to assist in creating financial models and analyzing growth opportunities within their product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Adapt our existing customer-driven financial models and adjust for additional revenue streams from an evolving product ecosystem
- Understand the detailed Excel formulas to merge customer data with customer behavior (Transactions, Retention & Churn, Customer Lifetime Value, Average Revenue per User, etc)
- Audit financial calculations for accuracy
- Organize business inputs and assumptions for ease of use in executive meetings
- Organize outputs of Financial Models for maximum consumption by senior executives
- Translate customer acquisition and behavior into financial metrics using discounted cash flow models over a 5-year time horizon
- Compare and contrast key KPI’s across multiple business opportunities (Cost per Acquisition, Revenue growth, EBIT Margin, Net Present Value, etc)
- Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis for multiple data inputs pursuant to executive discussions and negotiations
- Compile competitor earnings data and demographic data to validate and defend modeling assumptions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field of study desired
- Intellectual curiosity and strong desire to grow
- Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- High level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; basic knowledge of AI tools for research and Excel model creation
- Experience in FinTech or Technology companies is a plus
