[Remote] Financial Specialist — Revenue & Monetization Strategy (Equity Pay Initially)

They are seeking a Financial Specialist to develop and execute the company's monetization strategy, focusing on revenue generation through various streams and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Aebly Media's revenue strategy across multiple streams including brand partnerships, advertising, subscription models, sponsored content, and creator monetization
• Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with brands, agencies, and advertisers aligned with Aebly's audience and mission
• Build financial models and revenue forecasts that support fundraising, investor conversations, and internal planning
• Analyze platform data — user engagement, traffic, content performance — and translate it into monetization opportunities
• Research and recommend pricing strategies for premium content, subscription tiers, and partnership packages
• Coordinate with the founding team on budget management, cost structure, and financial reporting
• Track industry benchmarks in media, creator economy, and political advertising to keep Aebly's approach competitive and informed

Skills

• Experience in revenue strategy, business development, monetization, media sales, or financial planning
• Understands how digital media and content platforms make money — advertising, subscriptions, sponsorships, creator revenue splits, and partnership models
• Comfortable building financial models, projections, and pitch materials
• Can identify revenue opportunities and move them from idea to execution
• Strong communicator who can represent Aebly to potential partners, advertisers, and investors
• Able to work remotely and asynchronously with the founding team
• Experience in media, publishing, political advertising, or the creator economy
• Background in startup finance, venture-backed companies, or early-stage revenue building
• Familiarity with ad platforms, programmatic advertising, CRM tools, or partnership management software
• Experience preparing materials for investor meetings or fundraising rounds
• Knowledge of the political media landscape and election-cycle advertising dynamics
