[Remote] Fire Alarm Design Engineer (U.S. Citizen – Clearance Eligible) – Mission Critical Projects
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Revolution Technologies is an engineering consulting team supporting large-scale mission-critical infrastructure projects. They are seeking a Fire Alarm / Life Safety Design Engineer to focus on the engineering design of fire alarm and detection systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and collaborating with various engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design fire alarm and life safety systems for complex facilities
- Develop layouts, diagrams, and engineering documentation
- Perform system sizing, calculations, and equipment selection
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and building regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support full design lifecycle (concept through construction documents)
Skills
- U.S. Citizenship required – must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Strong experience in fire alarm system design (not sprinkler-only or field roles)
- Working knowledge of NFPA 72 and life safety codes
- Background in engineering consulting / design environments
- Ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate across teams
- Experience with mission-critical / data center projects
- Familiarity with Revit or similar tools
- PE license (or pursuing)
