[Remote] Forensic Accountant / Financial Analytics Lead

Univedge Consulting LLC is seeking a highly analytical and forward-looking Forensic Accountant / Financial Analytics Lead to support financial forecasting and predictive planning. This role combines forensic financial analysis with data science techniques to uncover trends and provide insights for better decision-making across projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform forensic analysis of financial data to identify anomalies, cost drivers, and risks
- Develop and maintain forecasting models for revenue, cost, and margin performance
- Provide forward-looking insight to anticipate financial impact of decisions
- Design and improve cost allocation methodologies across programs and regions
- Partner with Finance, PMO, and Operations teams to validate financial data
- Build dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights
- Integrate data from multiple systems for comprehensive analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial and strategic decisions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 7+ years experience in financial analysis, forensic accounting, or planning
- Strong experience with forecasting, modeling, and cost analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with large datasets
- Experience in forensic accounting or financial investigations
- Background in data science or applied statistics
- Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, or Power BI
- Experience in telecom or technology services industries
- Familiarity with project financial systems (Salesforce, Kantata, etc.)
