[Remote] Full Stack Engineer | Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to contribute to the design and development of end-to-end fullstack systems. The role involves building scalable backend services and high-quality frontend interfaces while collaborating with various teams to translate requirements into effective systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of end-to-end fullstack systems powering critical internal workflows and platform capabilities
- Build clean, scalable backend services and APIs with clear contracts and ownership
- Develop high-quality, performant frontend interfaces used by internal teams and stakeholders
- Participate in data modeling and database performance optimization, including schema design and query tuning
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and design teams to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable systems
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience across internal tooling
Skills
- Have strong relevant experience in building or contributing to production fullstack systems through internships, projects, or professional experience
- Possess strong TypeScript fundamentals across frontend and/or backend development
- Have familiarity with backend development using Node.js
- Have experience building user interfaces with React or similar frameworks
- Understand relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles
- NestJS being a plus
