Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential grant funding sources from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Develop compelling and persuasive grant proposals, narratives, and supporting documents. Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including proposal submission, reporting, and stewardship. Maintain a database of grant opportunities, submissions, and awards. Track grant deadlines and reporting requirements meticulously. Analyze grant guidelines and requirements to ensure compliance. Build and maintain relationships with grant funders. Prepare budget proposals and financial justifications for grant applications. Contribute to strategic planning for fundraising and development efforts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. Proven track record of successfully writing and securing grants, with at least 5 years of experience. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong research and analytical abilities to identify suitable funding opportunities. Experience in developing grant budgets and financial reports. Proficiency in grant research databases and online submission portals. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet strict deadlines in a remote setting. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
