[Remote] Human Resources Benefits SME - Contractor

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OPSPro provides compliance and operational support for small businesses and government contractors, including HR, Payroll, Accounting, Contracting, and IT. The Human Resources Benefits SME position is a contract, fully remote role focused on delivering quality HR support to clients and mentoring HR professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert consultant across various industries, company sizes, and software tools
  • Deliver quality third-party HR support to clients in an administrative function, using HR knowledge and best practices
  • Train and mentor, team members of Human Resource professionals
  • Lead and support clients with HR programs, policies, and initiatives in areas such as benefits, software implementation, total compensation, employee relations, federal and state compliance, performance management, and training
  • Create deliverables and guidance tailored to client needs while maintaining a resource library for OPSPro's service efficiency
  • Develop strong client relationships through credibility, respect, and responsive communication
  • Manage projects, deadlines, and client expectations while collaborating with department colleagues and OPSPro staff
  • Apply knowledge of HR federal government contracting requirements and relevant compliance practices as appropriate, per the DCAA
  • Create, maintain, and make readily accessible to client SOPs and platforms for cross-functional support and coverage at OPSPro
  • Demonstrate consistent customer service and empathetic consulting, while being a trustworthy steward of the client's HR budget

  • Confirmed ability to meet goals and demonstrate value while working under limited supervision
  • Active SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification
  • A minimum of an AA/AS or BA/BS in Human Resources or related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience up to HRBP across several HR disciplines, industries, and company size
  • Experience working in multiple external client
  • ISolved experience, or other software specifically for recruiting, onboarding, and talent management and HR reporting
  • Working knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA)
  • Department of Defense experience and familiarity
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Variety of ATS, HRIS and LMS implementation, maintenance, and report pulling
