[Remote] Intern - Data
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Duravant is a global engineered equipment company with a rich history, and they are seeking two motivated interns to support their Parts Pricing team. This internship provides an opportunity to conduct data mining and analysis, collaborate with teams, and leverage data analytics tools to improve pricing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data mining and analysis on parts pricing and categorization data across multiple operating companies
- Collaborate with team members to develop a repeatable and scalable process for pricing analysis
- Support the identification of trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities within parts pricing structures
- Utilize AI tools and analytical techniques to enhance data insights and improve efficiency
- Assist in building reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and data accuracy
- Contribute to documentation of processes and best practices
Skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Economics, or a related field
- Strong interest in data mining, analytics, and AI applications
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Junior and Senior level students preferred
- Experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar analytics platforms is preferred
