[Remote] Lead Full Stack Developer (Node.js / TypeScript)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RAIS USA is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and TypeScript. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable applications, leading backend development efforts, and managing high-availability FinTech platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript
- Lead backend development efforts, including API design, microservices, and system integrations
- Architect and implement microservices-based systems ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Drive modernization of legacy systems into scalable and maintainable architectures
- Manage and support high-availability FinTech platforms operating in 24/7 environments
- Ensure high-quality code, performance optimization, and system reliability
- Provide L3 production support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore development teams
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and FinTech industry standards
Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Node.js and TypeScript
- Solid experience in full stack development (6+ years)
- Strong backend development expertise including API development (REST / GraphQL)
- Microservices architecture
- Distributed systems design
- Frontend Experience with React.js and modern frontend development practices
- Proven experience working on large-scale FinTech product development
- Experience in product support, enhancements, and modernization initiatives
- Strong understanding of financial systems, transactions, or payment platforms
- Hands-on experience supporting 24/7 production environments
- Strong exposure to incident management, SLA adherence, and support processes
- Experience in leading distributed teams (onshore & offshore)
- Ability to drive delivery across multiple time zones
- Strong ability to engage and manage senior business stakeholders
- Experience working across multiple business lines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
