[Remote] Legal Paid Consultant - Obligations, Renewals, Amendments & Contract Disputes
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LinkedIn is seeking experienced CLM operations and commercial contract lifecycle professionals to provide expert insight as part of a project for their AI Marketplace. The role involves completing a recorded AI-led video interview focused on real-world contract management practices.
Responsibilities
- Capturing and tracking contractual obligations, renewal windows, notice dates, milestones, deliverables, and audit-critical terms
- Managing auto-renewal, notice, amendment, change-order, and contract repository workflows after signature
- Handling suspected breaches, ambiguous terms, cure periods, dispute notices, waivers, termination, and escalation to litigation when needed
- Maintaining contract records, decision documentation, alerts, audit trails, and downstream business-owner accountability
- Explaining workflows specifically within: post-signature obligation tracking, renewal management, amendment workflows, breach handling, and contract dispute escalation
Skills
- 7+ years in contract lifecycle management, commercial contracts, CLM operations, obligation management, renewals, or contract disputes
- Direct, hands-on experience in post-signature obligation tracking, renewal management, amendment workflows, breach handling, and contract dispute escalation
- Experience making or influencing decisions related to obligation ownership, notice timing, renewal strategy, amendment approvals, breach response, cure periods, waiver decisions, and litigation escalation
- Familiarity with tools such as: Ironclad, Icertis, DocuSign CLM, Conga, Salesforce, Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Excel, DocuSign
- Strong ability to clearly explain workflows, decisions, and reasoning
- Experience owning or directly executing these workflows in a real production environment
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, business, finance, compliance, security, procurement, product, engineering, or outside counsel stakeholders as relevant to the workflow
