[Remote] Mainframe z/OS & IBM LCM Administrator - W2 Only
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Saransh Inc is looking for a Mainframe z/OS & IBM LCM Administrator. The role involves administering Rocket Life Cycle Manager across various environments and managing mainframe operations, including system maintenance and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Administer Rocket Life Cycle Manager (LCM) across multiple environments (DEV, TEST, PROD)
- Configure lifecycle processes, workflows, and approval mechanisms
- Maintain application hierarchies, systems, and library structures
- Manage versioning of components and maintain baselines
- Support rollback/backout to previous stable versions
- Create, manage, and promote change packages as deployable units
- Work with security team to implement role based access controls
- Support production migrations, release failures, and package issues
- Excellent understanding of System z architecture
- Excellent experience with IBM z/OS operating system
- Experience in building Mainframe LPAR and OS Upgrades
- Installation of patches and fixes
- System parameters/parmlib maintenance
- Knowledge of managing JES3 subsystem
- Managing incidents on z/OS related issues
- Z/OS performance monitoring and reporting
