[Remote] Mechanical Engineer

TYG is partnering with a leading MEP firm seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer / Team Leader to join their growing team in New York. This leadership position is ideal for a motivated mechanical engineer with extensive building systems experience, a strong technical background, and a passion for managing projects and developing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building systems for a diverse range of public and private sector projects
- Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and technical execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the firm
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on building systems
- At least 3 years of project management and team leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong communication, technical writing, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- New York State PE license
